My Opening Repetoire

Ok..... so I've been analyzing what I like from a position in the middle game. I have found that I like open central positions and active peice-play. So I have changed my Openings accordingly.

Interesting article.

However, I'm not impressed with the Smith-Morris gambit. Black can follow it up with the push of the d pawn to defend. Then he can wait for it to be taken and retake (encouraging the queen out, aiding development) or bringing the knight out to defend his pawn (improving development) and has the e pawn to push shortly, potentially after developing his kings knight. To me it looks relatively even. White has even weakened his king on the queen side diagonal if he takes the pawn towards the centre.
