My Opening

This is an opening I invented myself.  I would like some feedback before trying it out.  Any comments, possible lines, suggestions, and critiques would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you for your feedback.

Hammerschlag

I think you have to consider white's other reply after c5...you are playing the black side on this, correct?

Anyway, if white responds to c5 with d5, then you can play your opening. However, there are plenty of other moves for white as d5 is not force by any means. So, how would you respond if white plays, c3, or e3, or Bf4, or Bg5, or g3, or b3, etc...How would these and other options for white affect your plans? If I played d4 I would play Bf4/g5, or b3/g3 in response to c5. Unfortunately I do not play d4 as an opening move so I cannot say for sure what the best move would be. Maybe someone that plays d4 have some good advice?

I am well aware that there are many other variations white can play that do not lead to this opening, mostly 2.c4

However, I was just wondering what people thought of continuations from this position.

what's stoping white from just taking the c5 pawn.

Your opening 1.d4 Nf6 2.Nf3 c5 is known as the Indian Game: Spielmann-Indian

This opening of yours looks very close to a benko gambit.  If white plays 4.c4, we have a Benko Gambit Declined by transposition.

1.d4 Nf6 2.Nf3 c5 3.d5 b5 4.c4 e6

1.d4 Nf6 2.Nf3 c5 3.c4 e6 4.d5 b5

1.d4 Nf6 2.Nf3 c5 3.e3 cxd4 4.exd4 d5

1.d4 Nf6 2.Nf3 c5 3.Bf4 cxd4 4.Nxd4 d5

1.d4 Nf6 2.Nf3 c5 3.Bg5 Ne4 is the Trompowski

1.d4 Nf6 2.Nf3 c5 3.Nc3 e6 looks best here
