Oh and any information or great games played using this opening would be appriciated
My Sicilain Opening

HYPER ACCELERATED DRAGON...deviated in the third move by playing ...Bg7 instead of ...cxd4 highly not recommended since after move 6 (here white made a mistake by playing 7.Bd4 ) white would be way ahead in development

in the H.accelerated black plays 2...g6 instead of 2...Nc6 3....cxd4 then 4...g6 in the normal accelerated dragon to avoid whats called the MAROCZY BIND which makes some complications to black

Leo, now this might just be me, but I think you might have been able to post all four of those comments in one post... call me crazy...
Also, although Leo says 'highly not recommended' it is perfectly playable, white gets an advantage in development but you can say that about most sicilian lines- black always manages to stay in the game with good chances, though.

I did a little searching in chess.com's engine and it looks like it's called the Pterodactyl defense in the Sicilian.
Also 50 + master games where the white plays Bd4 just like he did in ours.
So I'm confused...if it was a mistake why would all these 2400+ players be making that move too?

sorry i am at work so i just send short messages...besides "playable" is completely diff from "recommended" , the sicilian is usually one step behind in development for the favor of solid pawn structure ...by prematuraly moving the queen both development, pawn structure and space are all delayed...and this is highly "not recommended " in any opening

It isn't a mistake, immortalgamer. It's just leo's opinion.
Also, this is indeed the Hyperaccelerated Pterodactyl. The best line for white is an immediate c4, rather than capturing on c5. Black still has a good game.

4 d5 is better for white and seems a very natural move.
Yet a lot of games the GM's take the pawn.

Ok , my database gives 4 d5 scoring 59% based on 478 games while 4 dxc5 scores 53% based on 517 games. But I think 4 d5 is a better move because it gains space and retains both white center pawns. These are the reasons I say 4 d5 is better. Personally the move 4 d5 also suits me more than taking on c5.
I've played a lot of Sicilian, but I've not seen this opening system before and have been enjoying some nice wins (and a few losses) using it. I'm sure I'm not the first to play it, but I can say in complete honesty, I've developed it without any outside assistance (books, engines, or GM games). So in that way I feel like I've been very creative in my approach to chess.
Tell me what you think of the opening and of the game. BTW Time was (2min)
