Hey I discover this trap in one of my recent games near my club!!! I was palying with a very classical player.. I saw this trap (i don't know if this really exists but for this time is my trap!! Cool)

here is the game..

Please post if you see any hopes for white.. or if i did any mistake!!!

Very nice! I will be sure to try this out sometime.

6. ... h5 appears 1,228 times in the Games Explorer here at chess.com. Only 8 times was the bishop taken. White managed to draw two of those games after 7. ... hxg4 8. g3 and one with 8. c3.

If instead of taking the bishop white plays 7. d3 the games have finished 43% in favor of white and 24.8% in favor of black.

Why did he push his f2 pawn to f3?

Spiffe

Congratulations!  No, you're not the first person to find it, it's actually pretty well-known, and one of the sharper replies to the Exchange variation.  But if you weren't aware previously, that's a nice find.

It's the only possible escape route for his king. Pawn to g3 takes care of that though.

Even if he didn't see it until move 9, I would have thought Qxg4 would have kept the game going a bit longer. 9. f3 seemed like a panic move to me.

Well played! Laughing

9. Qxg4 Qh1#

There is one escape after the trap, but white still ends up at a slight disadvantage, so I guess the only way out is to resist the bishop. I'm sure there are many other variations but most probably do poorly for white.
