I play Queen's Gambit as well. Your varient is intersting, but I am not sure if I would play it. I personally play 3.e4 instead of 3. nc3, controlling the center and threatening to take the pawn. Up to nf6, this position (according to a opening database) has been played 4 times, with 3 draws and 1 loss. This opening varient definitly very new.
New Cool Variation for Queens Gambit Accepted

What does the pawn do? Just asking because I'm researching the Queens Gambit and It's Variations and can you send me more games of this Variation being used

I've had a lot of success with this move. What do you guys think?
What is the point of this move?

It's not very good because it leaves d4 very tender and black is winning it in most lines. If the idea was to establish a broad pawn centre then it doesn't work.
I've looked at the database and most people are playing Nc6 against it. This is not the best move but it's still doing very well.
Even though these are not the best moves for black. Black is still easily finding an edge against it.
Second of all, there is no real point in the move. The opening play appears to be preparing e4 but white can play e4 at any point anyway rather than making a bunch of tempo-wasting moves like a3 and f3. Bb4 is nothing to be scared of and although f3 is supposed to support e4, it's actually d4 which is under fire.
