Ongoing games shouldn't be discussed. Even if 9 contributors try hard not to give any advice, there will come the 10th one who spoils the thread.

Oh not at all and I agree, but I'm running on the assumption that White doesn't give me a free Knight on move three I'm interested in how this game "should go" if there even is a should
A knight on the rim is dim. Develop your knights to better squares to take advantage because better developed knights cover more important and more squares
it was meant as a joke. i played that system as white when i was 1200 in bullet
Well thankyou all the same, I wanted to know what white was playing for, still can't see myself playing it mind.
To put it nicely, wikipedia calls it the "ammonia opening" owing that Nh3 is the chemical symbol for Ammonia and that... it stinks. I have to be honest, with full respect that you are considerably more experienced than myself, I think I agree with wiki
by the way in your given variation of rg1 why Qxg3?? hxg3
omg... see... this is why you're at the deep end and I'm in the retrospective chess paddling pool
I have a few saved in a compendium of my games, but they might take a while to dig up.
I'm 5 out of 5 with 1.Nh3.
Gotta luv it!
His only hope in making it useful is in moving it to f4 or somehow getting a position where Ng5 is good. Covering the f4 square with e5 is probably a good idea.
I don't like when people directly go against theory and logic and play openings like that.
Just started a correspondence game and I swear to god this is how its started.
Not looking for advice on the game, but the move "Nh3" got me thinking...
What are the true weaknesses of the first move Nh3 that I should be looking to exploit? or is it just a wasted move on White's part?
