Have anyone of you come up with an opening that is new and hasn't been used before? I am wondering if all the logic and tactics in chess has been found already.

Is there an effective opening that is not in the book?

My favourite novel opening is "Call me Ishmael..."

I don't think there are any logical openings that officially don't exist.
I'd even say every first move is an opening, and almost every second one as well.
Even awkward ones like h3 etc.
