I think the best reply against c4 would be e5
Opening Repertoire

This is very similar to mine, however I tend to play d4 more often and opt for slightly more popular variations than Trompowski and Stonewall.
Want to play sometime?

I think the best reply against c4 would be e5
I agree. e5 helps you controll the center, while Nf3 just develops a knight. To Nf3, white can play 2.d4, and the center of the chessbord is theirs.

1) You say as White e4, d4, and c4 are all in your repertoire--this is a waste of time. Pick one first move and learn the strategic ideas behind it.
2) Against e4, Play the Najdorf or Dragon, not both.
3) Against d4, again don't play so many lines. Play Beko or Nimzo+QID, not both.
4) Against c4, (1... c5 2... Nc6 3... g6 4... Bg7). That's reasonable, but if the KID is in your repertoire, why not aim for it here, too?
You want to avoid spending too much time on openings at your level. Keep your repertoire simple and focus on more important things.

The best reply is the one that suites your style and fits the rest of your repertoire. ...e5, ...c5, ...Nf6, and ...c6 are all fine and challenging responses to c4.
Hi people. I've been looking into openings and I decided a few I might like to use, and I need advice.
White
e4 (with response of e5 I'd play Lopez and against d5 and c5 I would play respective variations etc. while French I play Advance and Caro-Kann I play Panov-Botvinnik)
d4 (rarely, I use the Trompowski, Stonewall, and QG and BDG)
c4 (I follow up with Nc3 and fianchettoe on the kingside)
Black
Against e4 (e5 and c5 - I play the Najdorf and Dragon)
Against d4 ( I play Nimzo-Indian, Queens Indian, Gruenfeld, Benko Gambit and Kings Indian)
Against c4 (I play 1... c5 2... Nc6 3... g6 4... Bg7)
Against Nf3 (I play symmetrical for a bit then I open things up with a d5 push)
