So let me see if I read you correctly :
A boring opening that very quickly speeds up through the middlegame into an endgame where you have a clear advantage?
I wish there was *such* a thing...
The opening is MERELY a way to survive into the middlegame with at the very least an equal position. That's the way I learned it. You have to assume you are always playing the board against the best moves possible. It is for that reason alone, that no openings make promises such as the one you ask for.
Does anyone know of any variations or any openings that are good for moving through the middlegame VERY quickly or skip it completely? Maybe even trade of Queens very early? Basically who can name the most boring openings or the openings that give you a clear endgame advantage, such as the doubled pawns in the nimzo or exchange lopez?
Thanks
