Great traps! I have heard of the Fishing Pole trap, but had not known what it was until now. On the last one though queen takes rook isn't mate because white can block with Bf1.
edit: Oops!

You might want to try rephrasing that.
Nice traps. I have seen them all before, but it is usually a good idea to cement them in your mind!

Whoops! Well, it's still pretty much game over after Queen takes pawn check, the same mate folowing.
It is ok to take the pawn with the knight in the Blackburne Shilling Gambit, you just can't hang on to it. But you do gain a nice attack, which is the point of the knight sacrifice.

Not as sound as you might think - if 5.Nb4? , then 5...d4! is a clear winner with a direct attack against the bishop, and discovering a double attack against the knight.
I've seen them all but I did the last trap on someone before this came out. :p
do you have trap for white moves 1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc3 3.c3....how to defnce?

3...d4 is what I've read, attacks the center and if exchanged, white cannot attack blacks queen with a tempo because c3 is blocked and his knight cannot move there. Breaks up white's attempt for a strong pawn center. Oh, sorry, no trap that I know of.
The 1st installment of a series of opening traps.
This 1st one arises for black in the King's Gambit. ( 1.e4 e5 2. c5)
