Thank you Yigor!!

That URL is not complete.
American Opening - I can't recall if that's 1.d4 d5 2.Nd2 or 1.e4 e5 2.Ne2 - I don't play openings that are that idiotic, but it exists. Not to be confused with the American Gambit.
Mexican Defense - 1.d4 Nf6 2.c4 Nc6 (Some know of it as the "Two Knights Tango", but the Mexican Defense is its formal name.

Ahhhh. Thank you ThrillerFan!
Now that I think of it I have a friend that plays the Two Knights Tango, but I have never heard him call it the Mexican Defence!

Here you go - apparently it has a third name I never heard of too!

Also, the Petroff, mentioned prior, is also known as the Russian Defense.

London system
Uhm, I hate to break it to you, but London is not a country!
Saying London is a country is about as stupid as what I have heard at minimum half a dozen times in Fast Money on Family Feud:
"Name a State that (complete the question here)" - CHICAGO!
I kid you not, a minimum half a dozen to a dozen times, and that's only since Steve Harvey hosted it, not even talking Richard Dawson, Ray Combs, or Richard Karn eras!

Thank you Yigor!!
I am well aware London is not a country but this forum seems to be fine with places as well and its my favorite opening.

LOL - The London System is CR@P!
ZERO Advantage for White! I'd rather have an actual reason to go first!

Uhm, that still doesn't make London a Country!
London is claiming independence from the United Kingdom! It is still just a mere city in the country of ENGLAND!
England and the United Kindom are NOT the same thing! Just like how Russia and the USSR weren't the same thing when the USSR existed! Russia was a big part of it, but they are not synonymous and neither are England and the UK.

Which other post besides yours has a mere "place"? Everything else listed is a country or nationality, not a mere place!
English (England)? Russian (Russia)? Polish (Poland)? Mexican (Mexico)? Scotch (Scotland)? Latvian (Latvia)?
All nationalities/countries last time I looked!

The post I quoted was a list of places despite there being many lists online including countries not places. http://www.chessburst.com/chess-openings/chess-openings-named-after-countries.html
The post of the list of places and my post were both helpful to the forum (certainly not unhelpful). Henriques post included Scandinavion Defence which he said himself wasn't strictly a country so there is nothing wrong with a post of another place to help extend the conversation particularly since most country named openings have already been mentioned. My post extended the conversation and was not the only non country post. This conversation you have started is unhelpful to this forum if u wish to continue insulting my intelligence based on a quick post please message me directly.

We don't need this type of clash (and from subsequent posts). Even though there are a lot of openings that can be named after just countries, I did initially include the Scandinavian Defence (which can be said to broaden the requirements of the forum), and this leniency was only increased upon the introduction of the 'main list' from Yigor.
So honestly, I don't think it should matter how far this forum extends, as long as people are able to learn about some new openings (whether they are good openings or not is irrelevant), and whether they enjoy an opening (like the London System @Kinobeon ) I don't think that deserves criticism purely on the basis that it is not a good opening for one reason or another.
As long as there is one way or another for people to continue enjoying chess that is all that matters in my books!
How many openings are there that are named after countries or nationalities?
There are some that I see commonly including:
The Spanish Opening (Ruy Lopez)
