Openings with pawn sacrifice for beginners

Hi everybody,
Even thought I am not supposed to focus on learning openings at an early stage of my chess playing journey, I try to learn progressively more moves from the frequent lines I usually face. My question is wheither it's ok for me to play lines with pawn sacrifices like 7.e4 in this semi slav line and I'm only around 1500 on standard chess here on chess.com:

It's not a pawn sacrifice. On e4, if black tries to defend his extra c4 pawn, you can push e5 with all sorts of complications because of the pin on his knight that are generally favorable for white.

Thanks, I thought it was a pawn sacrifice. But, generally do you think that  I should play openings with pawn sacrifices since it's not sur that i can mantain the advantge given by that sacrifice?

In general. real gambits are deemed unsound, by grandmasters and other players of their ilk. Unfortunately, most of us are not grandmasters.

They depend for success on you knowing a line more thoroughly than your opponent. There is nothing wrong with your studying them and giving them a try.

Thanks all.
