So do i
openings

1. f3! e5 2. g4!!
Scores extremely well for me as white. As black, I have a 0% win rate against this opening. Its pretty much invincible.
If you dont like it then 1. g4 e5. 2. f3 is also good as well.
no offense, but 1.a4, e5, 2.h4 doen't seem like a good opening. I was wondering if e4 or d4 is the best

neither e4 or d4 is better. It's the same thing as if you would ask which arm is better right or left

Don't forget 1. c4!
And the answer is none is "better". The each lead to different type games (e4 more open and tactical, d4 and c4 more closed and positional) which can suit different players.
And of course, your opponent always has a say in the matter. For instance, if you play 1. e4, your opponent has a wide array of choices, from 1. e6 (the closed positional French) to 1. c5 (the sharp Sicilian) to a variety of gambits, and other options.

Statistically speaking, d4 leads to a lower losing rate for White, but also offers lower chances of winning, and more chances for a draw. e4, on the other hand, leads to more wins for White, but also more losses. These two opening moves have the best record. For someone new to chess, generally e4 is suggested, to speed up understanding of open games and tactics.

I want to know which opening is the best.
