Petition to ban the berlin draw

What is the Berlin Draw?
Â
Hmm... it's not that simple. For example, 9...d6!? is an inaccuracy (correct move: 9...d5) and white can win while playing 10. Nc3 or 10. Rd1.

WHY EVEN PLAY THE RUY LOPEZ? DON'T YOU WANT TO TRY AND WIN??
ppl play the berlin draw when they want a draw.Â
so lets say you don't want to risk losing your rank, in a tournament. just play it safe and play the Berlin draw.Â

realized it could also be this
Â
That technically isn’t a forced drawÂ
it looks so depressing to play though lol

Is the now famous Hikaru vs. Magnus draw any better? Black could take advantage of that... People aren't risking anything, and we want them to? I don't get it...

At least come up with more creative draws GMs🙄
Playing for a draw isn't supposed to be interesting... but if any of the choices were interesting, it would be the Berlin, an opening thought to be bad for 100 years, and Kramnik revived it. It's the very definition of creativity.
Anyway, before that, they played the petroff to draw. You're probably too young to remember.

theres also this draw, frustrates me whenever someone tries that, just lemme get my English attack cmon

This. It's just an agreement to draw. Exchange slavs are another popular way of agreeing to draw or occasionally the zaitsev. The basic rules of chess state that players can agree to a draw at any time they wish. Â
