Physical Chess Bot

I have been considering creating a chess bot that can play against people that is based on cards. There would be three separate decks for openings middle-games and endgames each opening would have separate decks. How it would work is there is a card of top. And it has options for the bots moves based on yours. And then based on this more cards are added and shuffled or placed in. I was thinking it could be about a (1900). I am firstly interested in the openings. Just the openings could be used as to improve your knowledge in a specific opening. This forum is for designing this (I anybody is Interested in it) Any contributions would be appreciated. Any suggestions for the first opening to create.
