Probably d5 or c6 bro. c6 runs the risk of running into the fantasy variation of the Caro Kann though, but it's less drawish than d5. Both are good positional candidates though.
Positional Opening for Black against e4?

Does anyone know any good positional openings against 1.e4?
I've played 1...e5 most of my life but recently, it has lead to drawn games against Ruy Lopez and Italian game albeit pretty accurate play from both sides (I'm around 1400 OTB now).
Classical sicilian
Caro Kann, the e6 sicilian lines tend to be more positional ( compared to other Sicilians ). 1. ..e5 is fine as well, you could adopt more positional lines in your existing repertoire.
Of course nothing is guaranteed, you can't always force a calmer line, there are sharp lines in the Caro-Kann as well. Black doesn't always get to choose the type of play.
Though tbh if I weren't happy with a high % of draws with Black and instead wanted to play for a win, I'd adopt sharper lines with plenty of imbalances ( this would require significantly more effort to what I'm willing to put into opening preparation )

That is not a positional choice lol.

HMmm soo it seems like caro, french and some sicillians are being mentioned. Are there any lines in particular that I would benefit studying from? Thanks for the responses btw

Chess.com ratings are inflated.
I like petrov, but it's kinda drawish even though it does become positional sometimes. The french is probably the best line for a positional game, but e4 is just tactical nature and white can usually have some line where they turn the game into tactical if they really want to

The sicilian kan is surprisingly good in blitz and rapid. Its positional and gives winning chances for both sides, most players don't know how to play against it so they mess up early.
