..
The Fried Liver Attack is a very aggressive opening for White. You will be sacrificing your Knight on the f7 square and bringing your Queen out early to start launching an assault on the Black King. You will only be able to play the Fried Liver Attack depending on the opening moves by Black. If Black creates that opportunity, then you will be able to launch the attack.
Fortunately, in this puzzle, Black plays into your hands and you will be able to give the Fried Liver Attack a try.
In this variation, 9.a3 is played to force the Black Knight away from protecting the other Knight leaving Black the opportunity to fork the King. The White Rook is also sacrificed, however, it was not going to be used in the attack anyway, and White can now throw more pieces at the Black King.
