I want to learn the Dutch, I used to play it a lot but I'd end up getting destroyed due to the weak diagonal... I think now that I'm a little better it might be time to relearn it. anyone have any good resources or themselves have any tips for playing the Dutch (preferably the Leningrad dutch)

Russ: If there was an Academy Award for chess.com blogs, this one would win easily. It's carefully thought out, thorough, well constructed, and very helpful.

@TheNumberTwenty: The first book about the Dutch on Russ's blog, Neil McDonald's "Starting Out: The Dutch Defence", will give you a good head start on all 3 Dutch systems. It won't make you an immediate expert, but it clearly explains the concepts involved and thereby gives you a solid basis for learning the details.

It depends largely upon how computer literate that one is and all that it entails.

If you wish to be on the up and up then wot has been recommended should be a good start.

If on the other hand you have a reasonable VPN, virus scanner and are not adverse to some risk then you are a couple of on-line libraries with plenty of books on the Dutch.
