Why not? It's theoretically the strongest. Go for the 4-Knight variation. If White fianchetto the Kingside Bishop (like Kasparov almost always do), you can also do yours, no more symmetrical than what you will achieve from 1.c4 c5. But here you still have the option for asimmetrical position.
