Ruy Lopez Variation

I recently played a Ruy Lopez opening game with white sacrificing a knight to be taken by the black king a few moves later. I lost the game but ended up doing this same thing to my opponent the very next game. Seems to put black in a huge bind very early. Does anyone know if this variation has a name or how to counter it? Sorry if this is common knowledge. Had never seen this before and have played a decent number of games.

This sort of resembles the Tennyson Gambit (ICBM variation). If you aren’t familiar, put simply, you sac a knight and bishop to get the king out of the way in order to take black’s queen scott free. This opening is only good because it exposes the king, but requires rapid development after your knight dies in order to capitalize on it. I don’t think this has a name, nor is it an official (or even sound) opening for white.
