As a Kosten fan (Dynamic English is one of the greatest chess books ever) I prefer 2..g3.
Second Move in Reversed Sicilian, English Opening
I play 2. Nc3. With 2. ... Bb4 3. Nd5 (and if 3. ... a5 4. a3) forces the bishop to retreat and none of the options gives Black an advantage. The play is somewhat different to typical English, but not bad if you know what you are doing. Nearly always the two transpose as the fianchetto and a knight on c3 are very typical for the English anyways.
Typical Reversed Sicilian begins at 1.e4 c5
White has two most popular choice in this position, 2.g3 or 2.Nc3. Which do you prefer?
In my opinion, Both two will lead to the main line of reversed dragon, but they will meet different annoyed sidelines. 2.g3 will meet some early c6 sidelines or Nc6 reversed closed sicilian. 2.Nc3 will meet some Bb4 or hedgehog. All of them are playable for white, but annoyed.
