What are some good lines for black in this version of the Sicilian?

Exal

I usually prefer e6 instead of d6 in the Bowlder attack

Tricklev

If he played 2. Nf3 it's hardly easy to guess the bowlder attack unless you wanna change your sicillian repertoire to allways be 2. e6.

But still 3...e6 would be good here.  Follow it up with ...a6...b5 to chase the bishop.

DrizztD

I usually play Nc6 and hope to transpose back into the lines I like, but if they don't transpose I usually make a setup like in the closed sicilian.

ghostofmaroczy

rich, 2...Nc6 is not possible in the above position because 1 e4 c5 2 Nf3 d6 3 Bc4 has already been played.

Tricklev

There is nothing wrong with 2. Nf3 Nc6 in the Sicillian, but there's hardly anything that shows it to be superior to the other possibilites. Stop spreading your ignorance around Rich.

nqi

3...Nf6 maybe?
