St George defense

I don't know if there are any traps against it but this is the wrong way to think about the game. Playing a trap is hoping for an easy win. Not all wins come easily. Sometimes you have to fight hard for them, but that can make the victory more satisfying as you know you beat a worthy opponent.
If you play a trap and the opponent falls for it then you will probably win. If they don't fall for it then you will probably have a worse position and lose. Sometimes there are good traps, but a good trap is not just depending on them falling for it and is a good move either way.
Against the St. George Defence, this setup is best.
The St. George Defence is dubious play by black so you should get a better position. It's not refuted though, so you won't necessarily get an easy win.

We simply play 2) d4 and then we will see in which kind of opening [with probably one move less] Black has decided to evolve.
Otherwise if we play for example a move like 2) Nf3 c5 and we have transposed in a Scicilian Defense.
I'm trying to say that it is difficult to give answers because of the transpositions.
