Your moves should depend on what your opponent does, you can't just blindly setup your pieces and only then start the game.
Do you have an example game for us? That would probably lead to better advice.

Now I know there's something I'm doing wrong here, ...
If you are refering to the position you posted then I would say that there is not much wrong in going for that kind of position, but as Scarblac said it would depend on your opponent.
Anyway the knights are on good places close to the center. The bishops are OK, they can also go to c4 and f4, or b5 and g5, depending of black's play. Or you could develop them to b2 and g2 after moving the pawns to b3 and g3.
The rook on c1 doesn't make sense since there is no sign of a possible play on the c-file at this point. It would be better to have the other rook on e1.
Okay, that makes since. I'll take that into consideration. Are there any openings for white that would be an aggresively quick attack that anyone would recommend?
Well, nice set up,but you can not always develop by the same way, since many times your opponent won't leave you to behave like that...
The set-up is ok,the only thing i would change,it would be the Rc1,back to a1 and Rf1 to Re1...

Unfortunatly, black is the one who chooses if the opening will be agressive or not. But you can narroew his choices a bit. I would recommend the Queen's Gambit or English.
Hey dude!
I'm still learing openings which will really will dictate how the middle games goes! Hopefully if you fare well in the exchanges the end will bring you a win! But hey I cant tell u everything I still wanna get a win in when we play!
ChessMaster I bought it at wal-mart 20$ ! Helps me learn different openining! Later!
Hey people,
I've been playing the game of chess ever since I was a boy and after a very long hiatus have decided to pick it up again as a hobby. Problem is, I'm still not very keen on an effective line of attack. I usually play white (I'll learn black later), and open up something like this:
Now I know there's something I'm doing wrong here, considering how I'm more of an aggresive player and this broken defense normally gets shattered by experienced players. I've tried using the Danish Gambit and moving in that way, but it normally ends up disasterous (unless I'm playing a newbie). Any suggestions? I need to know a good way to get in fast and aggresively without being in danger of losing any important material, or the king himself.
