its a setup which you can play against almost anything. My move order, with black is (eg. against 1.e4) 1...g6, 2...Bg7, 3...d6, 4...e6, 5...Ne7, 6...Nd7, 7...b6, 8...Bb7. The setup is complete and you'll attack your opponent's big centre with ...c5. Of course if your opponent starts playing bad moves (eg. a blunder) you can ditch the system anytime and take advantage of it.

can you name a few website's where you learned your openings from.

I used Wikipedia for the basics of chess openings: Chess openings

Another great way to learn opening theory is Youtube: check out the Jrobichess and kingscrusher channels!

I haven't been too impressed with the internet when it comes to learning/studying openings. Either the info is inaccurate or heavily biased, only showing a few lines which demonstrates the author/writer/presenter's point. Wikipedia isn't too biased, doesn't go into much detail but is a good starting point. On the other hand books are edited numerous times and go into amazing detail. If biased, then authors generally will accept that AND explain why they think that way. good books: Understanding the chess openings by sam collins, mastering the chess openings by John Watson and really, most books/ebooks are good.

My favorite is Four Pawns Attack, but you have to know it well to use it properly. As for black, I use Owen Defense against 1. e4 and a mix of King's Indian and Benoni against 1. d4.

Puchiko

e2

Perfect every time.

I don't like e4 anymore. Ever since the Sicillian Defense became popular I haven't liked e4.

stalem8

I like e4 :D
