and not too theory intensive.??? are we talking about the same variation?? There is less theory than perhaps astro-fisics but thats pretty much it. If your still interested you could probably browse around the chessbase.com website for a few recent tourneys it could appear in a few games.

I've recently become interested in learning the Scheveningen, because I hear it's solid and flexible and not too theory intensive. I know that black will try to liberate with e5 or d5, but other than that, I don't know much about the system. Does anyone know any good resources? It would be awesome if the resource was free :) but if there are any books or things like that, I would love to know where I get information.
