"The Traxler" as a great Chess opening: Thoughts?

Whenever given the opportunity, I without exception usually find myself always playing the "Traxler Counter Attack." Being a somewhat risky player anyway, I've always been taught to play the Traxler against the Fried Liver Attack. Many would attest that the Bc5 is an error or mistake for Black, however, I was taught that white Ng5 is an inaccuracy and error, as it is a premature attack, and allows black to advance in the development of his pieces. Anyhow, Chess is Chess. What are your thoughts on the "Fried Liver attack" and the "Traxler Counter"? I'm also open to any challenges if anyone would like to try to beat me playing the Fried Liver against me. Thanks

I think the fried liver is not great but because of 4.d5 not 4.Bc5. Of course it's very complicated after 4.Bc5 and so in a blitz game or just for funzies then fine, but in a serious game against a strong player who knows their stuff I think white has an advantage. 5.Bxf7+ is the critical move I believe.
