Tips for anyone who wants to play into the the fried liver attack

I ran into someone my last game (1330) and they had no clue how to counter the fried liver, so if ur black playing double knights, here are some ways to play against it.

* Below each game will be a footnote

# Classic Game: Fried-liver

* The next knight move can either be the classic Nb4 or the Polerio Defense with Ne7. I do not recommend either of these, but I have had less luck winning against the Polerio Defense so if you must I would recommend that one.
# Italian Game: Traxler, Knight sacrifice line
* The Traxler Counterattack relies on the opponent taking the bishop, if they do not, you will be down material, but still a really strong position to mate the king. This line I would say is stronger than the bishop's sacrifice only if white does not take the bishop on f2.
#Itaian Game: Traxler, Bishop sacrifice line
*I would argue this line is safer for white to play as it allows for less risky play. This idea of the Traxler counterattack is really strong and can lead to easy checkmates if you study the opening.
NOW THE TWO STRONGEST COUNTER PLAYS IMO
# Italiean Game: Kights Attack, Fritz Variation
* This opening is really unknown to me. I know there are a lot of trap lines here for black, and most white players have never seen this played. I like to study theory, which is the only reason I know it exists. It is worth giving a shot if you like to be deceptive.
# Knights Attack, Polerio Defense
* This is by far the most common counter I see to the fried-liver. It holds on strong and has a good defense. This is one of the easier theories to learn as it will almost always flow the same path
Honorable mentions: So there are many other ways to prevent this, but these are the most common or strongest I see. You can play the Ponziani-Steinitz Gambit, but I do not understand it, to be honest, I can not give a fair evaluation on it, but it feels very big brain in the worst way. There is also the Ulvestand Variation. This one feels actually very strong, but I have never seen it and only know the opening principle of it. It is one of the few openings that black is winning when looking at the database black. So this seems like an also good look. The last one to be mentioned is the Kloss Gambit, if you play this you got to be ready. It is a very dangerous gambit to play with many ways to mess up. Like walking a tight rope.
