Very interesting Kings Gambit line!

Last Sunday 7th June, i played a 9 round blitz tournament, the time control was 15-0. In the very first rd, i got paired against a strong player Oliver Jackson (2222 fide last year, 2157 fide this year). I lost the game, but the opening was very interesting.

Here are the first 10 moves of the game, after 5...Ng4 i was on my own, as i had only ever played against 5...Ne4 and didnt have any preparation for this move!

I would love to hear from strong Kings gambit players, please!

1) is 5...Ng4 a sound move?

2) is the d4 - d3 idea a good one? (it wins the exchange, but if he goes for Nf2+ white must get tremendous play?)

3) who is better after 10...g5 ?

Any other opinions on this opening appreciated!

Here is the start of the game, I was white.

This is the rest of the game upto move 21 where i was too short of time to carry on recording my moves, i resigned in time trouble after 40 ish moves.

I've been playing the King's Gambit recently, but have only done 3. Nf3, not 3. Bc4. According to Game Explorer on here, Nf3 I quite a bit more popular.(3. Nf3 in 7000 games and 3. Bc4 in 1500 games).

What do you think the advantages are to 3. Bc4? I know Fischer played it with success. I'm still quite new to the King's Gambit.
