Icelandic gambit maybe
What are your thoughts on the center game opening?

It leads also to Danish and Göring gambits.
Centre game is defined by 2.Qxd4 so once again u are wrong sorry...
I used to play it a lot, even in longer games, with great results.
Using the book dangerous weapons 1.e4 e5 which gave very nice analysis.
Unfortunately, black has some nasty lines so i stopped it...
However, a fresh line occured some years ago with Qd3 instead of Qe3.
The idea being the same as Qe3, preparing quick long castle with Nc3 and Bd2 (Bg5) following.
Qd3 is new, trying to improve on Qe3 when white's queen can have issue on e file when black will play Re8 later.
I don't know it, I stopped playing the centre game in long time control but maybe I should investigate this Qd3... Food for thought!

Hello, I have recently discovered the center game opening was was intrested in all of the sort of tricks and foolery it can provide as an opening. I have been studying some of its theories but I want to know peoples opinion on wheather its a move I should keep consistantly playing or just try to learn something else and have that as something I can pocket and pull out against friends.
