what do Pirc lovers play as White?

I should think something more "passive" and defensive, such as the Reti Opening, Queen's Pawn, English, or even the Mieses/Van't Krujis Opening ... One famous example of a Pirc player is Vladimir Kramnik. Kramnik has a positional playing style. As another member put it, he'll take you into an endgame with nothing of an advantage and play it so well that you lose. For this reason, he is a slower and more solid player, meaning he is more likely to shy away from fast, unsound or aggressive openings like gambits or the King's Pawn. This is how I believe Pirc players will open a game as white.

Couldn't really tell you. I do not allow the Pirc as White (and yes, I play 1.e4) and only play it as Black when White has committed to a passive line through the use of a QP opening and a later e4.

You won't believe but this is theory and i think for all pirc lover catalan Or botivinik english Or kia is the best choice

I always play pirc against e4. And for my opening I always go for Italian, Siciilian, Caro Kann, Pirc, but basically I balance out the closed slow positional pirc with open tactical games as white to mix it up.
You may always TRY to play the Pirc. Does not mean you always get it! Against me, you'd wind up in a Saemisch King's Indian, Old Indian, or unfavorable Benoni where I have not committed to c4.
