I don't find it too much of a problem with how much people are playing a Sicilian to 1.E4 but I like to play the Bishop's Opening (1.E4 E5 2.Bc4) sometimes when I want more variety. Not too much trouble getting copied there.
What i not like in a game of chess.

Perhaps you should give an example. I don't usually get symmetrical games or a lot of early exchanges coming from 1.d4. Perhaps you could play better moves to avoid that?

Here is such a game Example lots of equal exchanges.
I blame this to myself, but dont know what causes it.
Usualy my oponents are stronger, it happens less against lower rated players.
It starts verry symetric, and then its a lot of equal exchanges after another.
The game ist still in progress, so please dont give me hints for this game i'm not asking for help with this one, but how in general to avoid games like these, because i dont like them (even if i win i still dont like this style of chess ).
(I play white.)
When i play white.
i dont like this :
A game with lots of equal exchanges.
Or a game of mirror chess.
Now i open frequently but not always with queens pawn opeing, and often against stronger people. I ends up in one of the above type of games. Is this a side effect of queen pawns opening?
Which opening are still good but result less often in these types of games.
Even an english opening went once into mirror chess (altough i broke the mirror). I like closed games in which to create an unbalance.
So therefore i play queen pawn a lot, maybe others openings are better ?
