What is 1.e4 2.Qf3?

I swear, when I’ve been playing black I’ve encountered this like 12 times in the past week. I guess it’s really popular with the 700-800 set? I usually play the French but I’m pretty sure they play 2.Qf3 with 1...e5 and 1...d5 as well.
Yeah, it seems like a trappy sort of thing. I can get past it in the opening but then my pieces are in places I wouldn’t have normally put them so it throws me off my game which I guess is the point, so congratulations Qf3 users lol. I like playing games with people who want to learn how to actually play. When someone pulls out the queen on the second move I’m like...dude, this is not enjoyable. I don’t even care if I lose, l just want a decent game rather than trying to avoid one-move captures.
It's too ridiculous to even be a troll opening like the Parham. At least with the Parham you can pretty much force a kingside fianchetto unless black is happy to play awkwardly. I have to admit to the Parham also makes me very alert to threats - they're absurd but never quite 100 miles away like something like qf3.
It is just bad. The queen comes into play too soon and will have to flee e.g. after ...Nf6 and Bg4 and it blocks the natural square f3 for Ng1.

like qh5 qf3 in 2.qh5 lines looks worse but forces a fianchetto, which probably wasnt blacks intention

Is the Parham opening the same thing as the Wayward queen?
It's called the Napoleon Opening.
2. Qf3 is simply a variation on the Scholar's Mate, only with fewer drawbacks if Black knows how to defend it. 2. Qh5 can lead to White
White's Q being chased around, frequently retreating to f3. Qf3 at least puts the Q is a spot that's somewhat useful. Not an opening I'd recommend against anyone over 1000
