Hey it's me again with my silly brain asking so many questions well back to the topic See I really want to stick 1 opening for white and one for black and study those opening to their core what are the best openings for white and black which I can stick to see in my opinion I can stick to the london for white and the KID for black if I got openings which are better than these then I would stick to those that's why I am doing this post to know what is best

For White, I’d recommend the ultra-classical d4 c4 Nc3 Nf3 complex (Classical NID, Orthodox KID, Botvinnik Semi-Slav, Modern Three Knights Slav, Showaltwer QGA, Taimanov Benoni, Pawn Return Benko, et cetera for the various QGD variations).

For Black I’d recommend either the Semi-Slav by the Slav move order or the NID and QID against d4, and I’d recommend either the Najdorf Sicilian or the Winawer French against e4, against the English I’d recommend the Reversed Sicilian, against the Reti I’d recommend playing 1… d5 hoping for a transposition to your d4 defense.

I don't think you need a new opening for black. You have 4/5 wins in dutch and 95% win rate in sicilian. For white I can recommend a lot of openings.

For agressive play the great option is e4 Nf3. If e5 Nc6 I recommed italian with fried liver and haxo(or evans) gambits. Against petrov you can play urusov with boden-kieseritsky gambit. Against philidor going for the morphy gambit trying to use zombie king attack is a 70% win rate option. This is my personal repertoire, tho I abandoned it for vienna game since I couldn't handle that much theory(30-minute video for fried liver + 20-minute video for haxo + another hour for petroff and zombie king). I think it can give a +3 position every game from the opening if you fully learn it.

For less theory vienna game is a way to go. I learned it from one 30-minute youtube video by gothamchess and it gives me stable win rate of 66%.

Scotch game and ponziani are also both amazing. Both are a bit calmer than italian and can also be learned from one 30-minute video.

If you want slow, positional game, try out d4 Nf3. You can go for torre attack and transpose to colle or stonewall without dsb problem. London is also a way to go.

And of course, since you are so good with sicilian, english opening. thats all.

ok fr though there really isn’t a best opening, you have to choose based off of your preferred style

With white I recommend the Italian. Play the Evans Gambit against Bc5 and if there's a two knights defense, fried liver is good but even better is the Scotch Gambit w/ d4

With black if you want to keep things simple the petrov is good and against the computer I have a strangely high winrate with it, and against d4 the benoni is awesome, there's a variation for you in it no matter what your playstyle is.

You cannot resort to one opening for Black.

You need one for e4 and one for d4. Most defenses to d4 allow for the same setup against Flank Openings, but either way, you need both e4 and d4. 1.e4 d6 2.d4 Nf6 3.Nc3 g6 is NOT the King's Indian Defense, and the Pirc and King's Indian are NOT the same thing and the ideas are completely different!

Theoretically Black could play 1… g6 against both e4 and d4, as the difference between the two Modern Defenses isn’t too large even when they don’t transpose. I wouldn’t recommend it for OP as the Modern isn’t really all that good, but it’s a possibility.

London is fine, KID is great, against e4 I would try out a Sicilian. Maybe a classical Sicilian? 🤔

I don't play the Sicilian, but I know that the kan is very good

I usually use London and Caro-Kann
