no, many engines prefer d4 or c4, also not just the first move but like whole opening

That's because of the Berlin.

Stockfish prefer 1. e4

Lco prefer 1. d4

Stockfish is a heavy tactical engine with little positional knowledge. 1. e4 usually leads to tactical games so it make sense Stockfish prefers mobility and tactics by 1. e4.

But Stockfish choice change over high depth.

According to my knowledge, SF choice are

1. e4 - shallow depth

2. d4- medium high depth

3. Nf3- very high depth( need hours of analysis)

4. c4 - extreme high depth ( months of analysis)

Lc0 is a heavy positional understanding Neural Network and she prefers positional play that usually occours by 1. d4

They two are top end two engines and they do win by their own strength.

@drmrboss, as far as I know, Lc0 most likely likes 1.d4 due to the Berlin. That's what AlphaZero preferred and I assume they both would play the same thing as they are both neural net engines.

I agreed. Berlin is one of the main reason she dont like playing 1. e4. ( Too drawish in Berlin)

Also not just first moves, but like whole openings. Also, Komodo actually likes French as Black vs e4 and Nimzo vs 1 d4.

Have you analyzed it? Because it's well known that 3.Nc3 gives white an advantage against the French.

I don't need to. The fact that absolutely no top players play it at the moment speaks for itself. Even Anish  Giri said in an interview that "you should never play the French." Tell me how you're equalizing against the French and I'll be happy to prove everything to you.
