the first thing you should learn is that this is not the KID. This is a london system/torre attack something.
the KID happens after 1d4 nf6 2 c4 g6. If the position is different then the position is different. White players often like to play unusual stuff to avoid any main lines.

I'll have to perhaps try to look some more, but my first search of London System did not turn up a position like this one.
Having said that, I'm still wondering what might be BLACK's best play here. I guess it's not so much the name of the position that worries me, but more like how best to respond. I find double pawns like that a pain. ...Will try to find more info. when I can, but people feel free to post your ideas. Thanks!
I'll sometimes see opponents (in my sub-1200 games) start against an attempted King's Indian Defense with Bishop G5 on MOVE #2. On MOVE #3, they take the Knight on F6 (regardless of what I do) sort of messing up my kingside structure. Curious if there is a best response to Bishop G5?
