Hello,

EDIT: I play the Tarrasch defense as Black.

Does anyone know the best move orders to transpose 1.c4 and 1.Nf3 1.g3 into Tarrasch defense territory [EDIT] when playing with the Black peices.?

1. Nf3/g3 d5 2.d4

1. c4 c5 2.Nc3 e6 3.g3 d5

Please correct me if I am wrong.

1.Nf3 d5 2.d4 c5 3.c4

In c-pawn openings, it can lead to many opening lines especially the Queen pawn openings.

1.d4 d5 2.c4 e6 3.Nf3 c5 is also possible.

Estragon.... It seems I did not ask the question clearly

Playing as Black against 1.c4 1.Nf3 and 1.g3 how can i steer the game into Tarrasch territory?  What move orders if any are best for me to traspose into the Tarrasch?

Against 1. c4, I usually get into the Tarrasch by playing 1....c5, followed by e6, Nf6, d5, Nc6. Against the other two by playing 1...d5.

I like the 1. ...Nf3  2...e6  3...c5 (The 4. ... d5 move is based on what my opponent does.  I like this move order because it leaves my options open dependent on what White does...i.e. the Benoni, Nimzo Indian and Bogo Indian, Bleumenthal Gambit can all be played from this move order.
