Ok. I just finished playing a game with the Maroczy bind, and gosh I love the feeling of controlling d5... the whole time.
I enjoy playing it so much that I've started to respond to the sicilian defense with c4, knowing that I can just develop my knight to f3 and push d4 soon enough.
Kingside under almost all circumstances.
In the lines where black exchanges on d4, and then plays Nf6 without preventing e5 (so white can drive away that defensive knight), I've seen some strong players aim to castle queenside and switch their plan to an almost English Attack style one. But 9 times out of 10, kingside.
