1.d4 e5!? 2.de f6!? 3.ef Nf6
I like to play that too ocasionally
I have, sort of... there's a specific formation I aim for in the Bayonet attack against the KID that has brought me a lot of success, and which I've never seen in any master-level game, much less in a book. I play more e4 than d4 anymore, so I don't get to play it as much, but this is a game I played here that followed the general idea:
The characteristics are the Ba3 (usually done much earlier), Qb3, the protection of e4 by f3 and the Nf3->d2->c4 manuever, and the protection of the kingside by the white-square bishop, who oftens goes back to f1 (not in this game).
Did u ever invent an opening?
Post it here! It doesn't have to be really valid, because chess is such an old game.
But still one can invent something. For example, this is my favorite for a blitz, as black:
1.d4 e5!? 2.de f6!? 3.ef Nf6 4.Nf3 Bc5 and if 5.Bg5? then 5...Bf2! 6.Kf2 Ne4
