Best Place to play in San Jose

I'm looking to found a place in the San Jose area where I can play and was wondering if any one had some advice on the best play to play some tournaments as a novice player.  I'm 31 so I don't want to go to a place that has nothing but kids.  Is there a good place to find tournament games at my age in this area?

I'm 25 and just recently found a place to play chess. The Kolty Chess Club meets Thursdays at 7:30pm and have rated play every week. It's pretty much all adults. They'll have a 30 minute lecture at 7:30pm and then starting at 8:00pm they'll have rated play. There's also casual blitz play happening during that time.

I started playing at Kolty chess club 2 weeks ago.

I was looking at Kolty chess club as an option for OTB play near San Jose but it seems the place is temporarily closed due to COVID19 restrictions. Does anyone know of a club that has reopened and is available for over the board play near San Jose?

Outside the convention center next to the Marriott there's a couple concrete tables with chess boards. You just need to bring your own pieces. Idk if anyone ever uses them though.
