Beginner, intermediate and master... A puzzle for each
Puzzle 1: There are 3 solutions, Rb8#, a8=Q#, and a8=R#.
Puzzle 2: Promoting to a Rook with mate is also a valid solution.
Puzzle 3: No offense, but you call that a puzzle? It is horrible play by both players.
You should be called grumpy; not smiley.

haha
After the first two puzzles I was worried you'd suddenly got a lot more accurate.
Number 3 was back to your best.
What a relief.
Do you know what happened with the second puzzle? I kept deleting it by mistake.

Gyula Breyer took a look at puzzle no. 3 and published a study entitled "a complicated position". Breyer has a slightly different solution. In fact Breyer claims to have cooked yitzd's solution, saying that after yitzd's first move White's game is in its last throes.

+1

I was going OK with the third puzzle until he hung the knight at d4. I just thought WTF? and realized it was yitzd at his best. But I especially liked not capturing the black knight that was forking the rook & bishop.

Except on the first one Rb8 would have been sufficient to checkmate, let alone promoting the pawn. The second puzzle was easy enough but I'd think it would be for beginners as well, instead of intermediates. The "puzzle for masters" is just insane!
