Heck, just some of the mid level players i play here! After ten years of beating my Mom and dad and friends at chess, i arrived here and found people who actually knew opening gambits and thought three or more moves ahead. needless to say, I dont win very often here, but i DO learn. Slowly.....

Well i gotta say Mikhail Tal the magician from riga,my whole playing style is due to the inspiration that his games gave to me ,every single sacrifice that he has made has opened my mind and my imagination and ripped apart the limits of my ability making for me clear that in every position there is always some gambit or sacrifice waiting to be disscused,i mean who dares to sacrifice in a world championship match or attack fearlessly and viciously against the strongest players no matter what he is playing(black or white) ...so i must say Tal is really the best in the history although fischer shouldnt be frogoten.
Which chess player has most influenced your chess game, how? mine is Capablanca, i learned a lot from his insights and annotations, and got influenced by his ability to play aggressive when needed and for simple positions too, and his deep insight into chess positions, where he saw deep into the inticricies of the position even without spending much time calculating endless variations. I have learned from other sources too, but the great cuban champion had the most impact on me.
