Anything less than top 3 and I would be surprised, but he is most likely saving alot for the WC match, and there is no reason for him to show off his prepared ideas and variations before the wc match.
Corus 2010: Must Anand win?

I feel certain that Anand is gearing up for the WC match with Topalov in April and isnt so concerned with his result in Corus as he is with that upcoming match. He will certainly not reveal any of his "work" in Corus that he thinks he may get to use against Topalov. Topalov isnt even playing , and probably for the same reason that we won't see Anand's " A game " in Corus.
"The cast at Corus is a formidable one. A total of 14 players are competing in the “A’’ section. The reigning world champion is here: 40-year-old Vishy Anand of India. Anything short of first place for Anand would be a disappointment. A defeat would signal that while Anand holds the title, he may no longer be the world’s best."

Seems over the top to make a more colourful article but time marches on.
