im gana say .01 to me its just one more scrap of paper in my houes.
help valuing autographs
In autograsph book:
geza maroczy, signed 1923
Efim Bogoljubow and Dr.A. Alekhine on a piece of paper stuck into autograph book
postcard stuck in book from 1932 Berne chess comp. signed by:
Grob, F.Gygli, W.Rivier, Sultan Khan, B.Colin, Voellmy, P.Johner, H.Johner, W.Henneberger, Naegeli, Euwe, Staehelin and D.O.S. Bernstein

Uau, some of those are quite a piece of autographs!
Their value is more hard to estimate cos it depends, in great extent (besides rarity and strong of the player), on sentimental reasons by the part of the purchaser.
geza maroczy - Great value (great player, rare autographs), perhaps tops all of those. Wouldn´t be surprised if someone gave 100 USD or even 200 USD for it.
Efim Bogoljubow and Dr.A. Alekhine - Also great value (Alekhine world champion but not so rare autographs) but here cames Bogoljubow (challanger) as a bonus, though not in a book, i would say the set of both has the same value as the marozcy one.
The postcard is perhaps not so value, anyway it contains some great stuff like Sultan Khan (rare) and Euwe (world champion but not so rare autograph), perhaps it could reach 50 ou 100 USD, it´s hard to say...
I could do bussiness with you if i had my pockets more full right now!...

Hi,
I have some autographs of some chess players but don't know their worth. Does anybody out there know how I can get a valuation?
Cheers
