Online chess ratings are corrupt. The only true test is over the board.

Magnus has yet to make me any money in the stock market.

So Hikaru has him there by a mile.

Whoever's best, everyone loves Magnus the most.

Stop lying. Stop making moronic statements that only an attention-seeking mom's basement dwelling simpleton would make. Learn about chess. Get a life.

Calm down man! What did I do to you? I was talking about on chess.com.

pranatheeswar

anyway, a standard game will prove it

Maybe in blitz and bullet with no increment Naka would have an edge? Maybe?

But they've played blitz and bullet before. Carlsen is better... but there's no shame in being slightly worse than the best player on the planet.

fortaleza

carlsen is much better chess player than nakamura

Carlsen crushed nakamura all the time

TOO EASY FOR MAGNUS CARLSEN

WHAT'S NEXT ?????????

how did this thread get re-activated?

Well Andrew Tang had a bullet rating of over 3200 on chess.com when he was an IM does that mean he is the greatest chess player of all time?
EndgameEnthusiast2357

Nakamura had both blitz and bullet over 3000 at one point, after playing 20K+ games

HorribleTomato

I am next.

EndgameEnthusiast2357

Maybe...get to 10,000 rating in both blitz and bullet after playing 10,000 games in each

Hikaru's Blitz rating is 3021, while Magnus's  Blitz rating is only 2992. Also, Hikaru has played thousands and thousands of games in both Blitz and Bullet, which proves his rating is accurate, while Magnus has only played like 70 blitz games and 22 bullet games.

Please explain why playing many games makes one's rating accurate.

The larger the sample size N, the more accurate any statistical calculations on it are.

Because it's a statistical measure. The Glicko rating system used on chess.com features the GlickoRD, which is actually a quantifier for the accuracy (the lower, the more accurate), which decreases with the number of games played in a given time period.

Nah, Cagnus Marlsen is the world champion.
