I like him before but after I watch interviews of carlsen, no longer like him because he give fake answers.

he reminds me of korean celebrities, they give scripted answers for protect their public image. Carlen does same. No honesty.

Anand is honest, speaks his mind, not afraid to offend people. I hope he beats Fake Carslen.

Ok, first off, Carslen isn't fake. Somehow you cannot understand that.

Secondly, along with With_every_step, I think that there is little to learn from both of these people- no maatter how good they say they are.

Losing to Anand would be a huge fail for Carlsen. I doubt he will let that happen. Laughing

Carlsen is a fake world champion,   Vishy is still the world champion .

Someone call NASA. We now have proof that alternate universes exist.

DrSpudnik

I'm going there!

No, it's just what Carlsen is. On the other hand Anand is the gentleman of chess.

carlsen is just better than annand on the chess board and in his interviews

Carlsen proved today with his fatal e6 move that he is eminently beatable...Arkady Naiditsch showed us all that there is no margin for error at world class level..if Carlsen plays like he did today in his upcoming title match with Anand he will make a tasty meal for the Indian tiger.

Nope, he's the world champion in blitz, rapid, and standard/classical time controls.

In the Olympiad Carlsen must win every game for Norway to have any chances, so he risked too much to avoid the draw. In a title match he would never overpress that desperately, as also the first game in the match showed, where he was outprepared and had the choice between quick draw and worse position, and in a title match that choice was easy. No must win games there.

I don't like Carlsen either. Everyone praises him as a god. He's not. He looks and acts like a mannequin. So fake, as you said.

Anand is much more symphatic. :)

BTW, Yuri you're pretty! Embarassed

Excuses , excuses . Magnus lost fair and square today . You are right to say though that he played a desperate move because he was under pressure to win but there was no need to play e6.

He will also be under a lot of pressure trying to defend his title which is different to the first title match against Anand where all the pressure was on Anand's shoulders ...Magnus does crack from time to time when under pressure that's the lesson of today's defeat.

Till_98

Wow somebody else who found out that Magnus aka Maggy Carlsen is using both,Stockfish and Houfini. The restroom is his best friend and biggest help...

My impression of the game was that it was Naiditsch that was under pressure and that Carlsen was the one doing the pressing, rather than the other way around. Then he overpressed, I recall the same thing happening against Caruana. Hardly particularly ominous ahead of the Anand match, in the last rounds he scored 1.5/2 with black against two 2800-players after beating Wojtaszek, but also Carlsen has bad days even if they tend to be few and far between.

A pretty girl can have her own opinion, she doesn't like Carlsen. I sure Carlsen is really hurt by this!

Anand has one last shot at glory ..he will be fully prepared and these defeats that Magnus keeps on having will be great encouragement for Vishy...Magnus does not seem to have the consistency of say his 50 game unbeaten streak before his candidates win.

I have always been interested in chess since my youth.  Only lately have I been able to renew my interest in the game.  But seems to me that winning is winning.  Perhaps too much emphasis is placed on personalities?  (I'm FAR from any expert, but am trying to "relearn" the game upon my 60th birthday! - gives one a certain sense of mortality!...)
