Have anyone ever seen the Cell Mate ? It developed outta the US penal system & it's kind of like a scholar's mate....kinda. Look it up...I'm not kidding you.

That's where I learned to play chess. I wanted to learn most life and couldn't find anyone who knew the game. Smh I had to go to prison to learn how to play such an intellectual game 😕

I have never been sent to prison but i did have a friend who also learned to play chess in prison. He was a good friend but other than telling me that he learned to play in prison he never talked about it. He had a nice family and he seemed to put that part of his life behind him.Good guy.
I feel like I've gotten so much better since before I was locked up anyone wanna play?
