He sure is busy!

How did we do in the match? Even Carlsen would not be able to stand up to Naka, Polgar, and the rest of the chess.com community...

Laughing Carlsen won.

We lost. If you look at the other link I posted above, there is a run down by Danny Rensch, and David Pruess did the game analysis. The game itself is actually posted on that link along with pictures of Carlsen after he won.

If I remember correctly, Chess.com had Judit Polgar, Nakamura and one other on our side helping us.

I found GM JuditPolgar, GM Hikaru, and GM MangusCarlsen...

And the other person, I believe was Maxime Vachier-Lagrave.

I think I remember Naka being blamed for suggesting and ultimately playing a ?! idea which was known to be iffy, and Magnus slowly turned it into an advantage, but I can't remember specifics lol.

camberfoil

Why does Nakamura get blamed for everything?

I think probably one of the highest. FYI, the highest correspondance player on the site is GM JUlio Beccera, at 2812, I believe. The highest-ranked player, Hikaru Nakamura, has a 1905 correspondance rating!

KairavJoshi

The three GMs that were helping the world were Nakamura, Polgar, and Vachier-Lagrave.

I need contacts of GM Larry Christiansen. E-mail, twitter or facebook. Can someone help me please?

rishdevils

cool

camberfoil

@Genius Which Polgar? ;)

camberfoil

I hear that they blamed Nakamura for the loss. Is that true? I doubt he would have caused such a loss; he is a very competent player...

camberfoil

I would love to think so...

No one gives a fuck about carlson

The World Champion is Magnus Carlsen. He has beaten Vichy Anand twice in fair matches. Carlsen deserves your respect and I am sure that Anand would also ask you to respect him.

Anand was a worthy champion.  He may yet have another chance at the title.
