Perhaps he has something better to do than hang on Facebook all day.
it depends how you use fb.... some people are only friends with people they know well in real life. Others friend people with similar outlooks even if they don't know them. So it's really a matter of choice and there's nothing good or bad about the number. I say it's a sign of integrity if anything.
