people that are poor losers

tell me about it colmc,i've had one or two experiences myself. But generally speaking i think chess.com is the best chess site available to anyone.Definitely, you would expect to meet and interact with different types of people with diverse ideas and all that so you cant expect all of us to be the same.I think Reb has done well to outline what can be done to avoid playing those sore losers. You can simply play one day per move games so you get to wait just 24 hrs to win or reply their move

Honestly, in over 100 games played I don't think I have ever run across this sort of behavior.

I see this behavior more commonly in people who have just joined. They are just looking for a game of chess and then they find this site,  sign up, play a bit, and lose interest once they've been bested. You shouldn't take it personally. When this happens I am proud that I outplayed someone and don't mind that I may have to wait 3 days to get credited for the win. Playing to a winning position is the most fun part, not the final checkmate.

Chill out folks, this site may be commended. Over the weekend I played chess at pogo( sorry mgmt). 2 of 2 times bad behavior. #1. I forked the guy's k and q, he left, had to finish with a dam puter. #2 had winning position and he left as well.

both games were to be rated but not when u finish with a puter, i was 1506 both of those players were 1600+. Feel better here because we're stronger players  I believe.      Ray

I find that the lower ranking people tend to make people wait when in a losing position more than people above 1300.

I noticed the OP hasn't logged back in since Feb 2008, so I guess he hated that attitude so much he gave up on the site.
